How much money can I get from the Jobcenter?

The Jobcenter München ensures that you have enough money to live on, for example for food and drink, clothing and your household. This money is called standard needs. The standard requirement is higher for adults than for children. The current amounts for the citizen’s income can be found here.

You can also receive money from us for the rent. However, the apartment must not be too expensive. You can find out the maximum rent on the website of the website of the City of Munich.

If you have your own income or receive money from other sources (e.g. child benefit), you will receive less money from us.
