The Jobcenters in social community centers essentially consist of the entrance area, the entrance zones, the benefits processing area and the market and integration placement area.
The following text provides information on the function of the individual sections.
Entrance zone: It is the first point of contact for our clients and therefore plays a key role in managing client access. Here, clients present their concerns, receive information and are forwarded to the relevant specialist departments. For example, you will receive appointments for personal consultations, for submitting applications, for referrals and access to other social institutions or the associated support services. Clients have recently been able to use the KundenTerminDesk to make appointments online for new applications or to notify the start of work
Benefits processing: This is where applications for cash benefits under the Social Code SGB II are processed, approved and paid out. Clients are advised with regard to questions, concerns and possible entitlements to SGB II benefits. Clients’ files are managed electronically at the Munich Jobcenter via the eFile. They can also use the jobcenter.digital online service, e.g. to extend their application for continued entitlement or to report changes such as a move.
Employment agency: Qualified integration specialists support our clients individually and appropriately in personal consultations, by telephone or via video consultation. The focus is on helping clients take up an apprenticeship or employment so that they can once again earn a living from their own resources. The integration specialists advise, among other things, on the possibilities of further vocational training, subsidies for taking up employment or employer benefits when hiring.
